Ultimately it's about increasing your profile and your brand awareness so that more people know about your brand which ultimately gives more value to your business and your brand. Every day I see marketing done by businesses that promote you to create a website through their platform or through their domain hosting and they sell you the dream by saying that by building a website it’s going to grow your business exponentially.
That is just not true, because you create a website doesn't mean you're going to make money.
So let's say you build a website, how are people going to find you? What activity are you doing to drive people to your website for them to be able to choose you? When they get to the website who's to say that they're going to choose you? What are you communicating that is different to the competition?
There are so many elements outside of creating a website to make sure that you're going to drive revenue and profit for your business. What are you communicating differently, how are you getting people to the website, why should they trust you, why are you different to the competition.
There are so many aspects that make the success of your business come to life than just setting up a website. So stop selling the dream by creating a new website is going to transform a business.
