Drive more revenue for your Australian small business with more touchpoints
How many touch points do you plan on having with your customers and clients this year? There are so many ways to measure how your customers and clients are engaging with you. Whether it’s automated emails that you’re setting up, social media posts, YouTube videos, podcasts, phone calls with your clients, there are so many ways to measure and know how many touch points you have with your existing and potential clients. We talk about having multiple touch points so that you stay top of mind with your clients, regardless of the time of the year, regardless of how busy or quiet you are or regardless of how busy or quiet your clients and potential customers are. Like we always say, they may not need you today, tomorrow or next week but if you’re been top of mind and that level of frequency is there and the number of touch points is up there, compared to your competitors, that’s who will get the best chance of success.
The difference between a small business that markets itself and one that doesn’t
Can you imagine, over three months, the difference between two businesses – one that’s marketing led and one that isn’t. One that does marketing every day and one that doesn’t. One that is focused on it’s point of difference and communicating that and one that doesn’t have a point of difference. One who has a team that is engaged in the marketing of their business every day and one whose employees don’t care. A business that is focused on its customers and customer experience and a business that doesn’t spend the time on wanting to improve their overall experience with their clients. Now the two are vastly different, but imagine after a month, 3 months, 6 months, a year, the difference that a marketing led business can make to the profit, to the revenue of a small business. So the question is, are you a marketing led business?
How to make your small business more profitable in 2025
Depending on your business and lifestyle, the holiday and Christmas period is often a time to reflect on what worked the previous year within your business and what changes you can make and what actions you can take in the new year to make it a more successful year. What can you do more of, what can you do less of and what marketing action will you take to drive your business, drive your revenue, and drive your opportunities coming into the new year. There might be marketing that worked in the previous year, there might be stuff that didn’t, do more of what is working and do less or tweak what didn’t. If you get the time to reflect, make some decisions and take action heading into the new year.
