Small business brand focus and its impact

Last week I had a meeting with a potential client who found us from Google. From the analytics, it seemed they typed in 'looking for a small business marketing consultant'. Gladly, they clicked on us and hence the meeting.

Am I gloating about a new client? No. If your business and it's brand has a focus, it has a domino effect on your business. At the end of the day, a huge part of your business and its success comes back to what you're communicating to your potential and current clientele. Marketing is communication.

What you're communicating has an impact on your business cards, your website, your verbal, whether or not your being found on Google or elsewhere and every other touch pint of communication. There needs to be a match between what you're communicating and to who. It seems so simple, but you'd be surprised how many small businesses in Sydney and across Australia miss the mark when it comes to clear, simple and focused communication. Your brand focus is key. If you feel you don't have the time or the expertise to get it right, hire someone who can.
